We had two female gp's called Leia and Sophie, They were born in September '97'
We were allowed to have them when they were four weeks old, and tiny wee things they were to.

Both were smooth coat gps. Leia was three shades of brown, with black ears and paws, she reminded me of a bee the way the different markings were on her fur all down her back, she was the bossy dominant one.  She actually belonged to my older brother Scott, and we both loved her to bits.

Then there was fat adorable Sophie, she was tan and white with tan ears, and white paws, and she was a big softy, she just loved her wee bossy sister to bits, following her about like a lap dog. 
She belonged to me and I loved her like a mamma loves her baby.

Tragically my beautiful darling Sophie died on the 9th of July '01' I was so sad as she was a lovely sweet natured guinea pig, and I shall miss her so much.

Also sadly our other little darling Leia has gone to join her sister Sophie, she died on the 25th March '02' they are together once more.  She was so cute.

We shall miss them so much, the house seems so quite without the familiar "wheek wheek" noise we were so used to, it was a joy to have them, and guinea pigs are still the No. 1 best pets to have. 

Goodbye girls, we loved you both very much and you enriched our lives with your sweet little quirky natures.
